I love your story of leaving your memory card at home. HAHAHA I have done that too. Now I make sure I have a card stored in the car. As for the new Canon R5C for six hundred bucks more you get more bang for a small price. For some of my friends that are now shooting video this is one step up and still have picture format. For me I am now just getting into video and bought a second hand camera that now has volume control and a few more things for me to master. At 76 years old these things are burning my last few brain cells out. LOL The R5C is a bridge camera and not a pro camera. The price reflects the limitations when you look at the C70 at 6,600 bucks US. or 9 grand CDN. Some people will be shouting with cinema lenses and don't need what the regular lenses need. For the people that like to look at all the short comings I get it when you are at a level far above the normal but it is no different than cars or other products to get you to up buy. In the old days you bought a car with one rear view mirror or one sun visor or arm rests. Got to ask if you thought of the Tesla satellite for your work?
