I refuse to use Adobe for anything. There are so many other good products for editing. I put together entire magazines in Corel Draw. To continue to pay for Adobe garbage. If more people dropped them they might get the hint. I see so many other professional photographers have dropped them. I am now writing a book and have put it together in CD. I have taught friends how do do the same thing and they too have published with great success. I did love the conversation this week.

Not surprisingly, you covered the recent scandal involving our local high school. As a parent who had three kids graduate there, most recently my twin daughters in 2019, I can say that the school has a reputation, known by both students and parents, of enforcing the dress code quite heavy-handedly. The school and (especially) the county school board deserve this bit of public shaming and I hope it ends up with changes made to the code of conduct that reflect more modern styles of modest dress. This is otherwise an excellent school and one of the top public high schools in the state. That the administration has time to police clothing so ruthlessly just underscores the fact that the they don’t have to spend much time policing more serious issues. (Perhaps their time would be better spent teaching the faculty Photoshop?)
